Music From The Moon

This is the first series I set out to create. There is a buoyancy with these works—a lightness, an eagerness. I was full of sheer enthuasium to just create, and was fully immersed in the improvised process of doing so.
The results were light, ethereal paintings made up of different media. I experimented with acrylic paint, interior gloss, pigments, charcoal, oil stick, chalk pastel and pencil to create paintings that conveyed a feeling of weightlessness.
